What to Expect
At Your First Appointment
We believe education is the key to every successful outcome. At your first appointment, we will begin with a thorough diagnostic evaluation of your hearing and health.
- We will begin with a discussion to get to know you and understand your hearing needs. We will go over the intake form you filled out while waiting and ask you some questions about your health and hearing.
- Then we will perform an ear exam by looking at your ear canal and eardrum with an otoscope.
- Once we’ve ensured your ears are clear, then we will begin the hearing test. We will assess your ability to hear different tones and pitches at various frequencies.
- After the hearing test we will go over your results and discuss some options that could help you hear better.
