Cerumen Removal
Also known as earwax, removing cerumen from the ear canal can improve hearing. This is especially important for anyone that wears hearing aids on a daily basis.
Hearing Tests
During your examination you will be tested using a series of low & high frequency words to determine your ability to understand verbiage within a conversation. We will also give you several words to repeat. The results will help us determine your percentage of hearing loss, your ability to understand speech and how hearing aids will improve your ability to hear.
Ear Impression
An ear impression is needed to make a custom fitted mold of your ear. Your hearing aids will created from this design to ensure maximum comfort when worn.
Evaluation and Fitting for Musician's Ear Plugs
With the high levels of sound in a music setting, producing music can be a chore if you can’t decipher distinct sounds. Musician’s earplugs are the perfect devices to limit the damage of long-term exposure to loud music.
Hearing Aid Dispensing & Fitting
Within this session, patients will get the preprogrammed hearing aids that they selected. Your hearing professional will also optimize them before making the fit official.
Hearing Aid Repairs
When time is of the essence, minor repairs can be done at the office with a short wait. When the damage is extensive, your hearing professional will decide whether to send your device off to the manufacturer for further repair.
Hearing Aid Evaluation and Selection
There are a lot of choices to make when deciding on a hearing aid. A licensed professional will be present to discuss all of the available options to help improve your hearing, after a few tests.
Pediatric Audiology
Hearing problems that are caught early in children can keep them from developing further damage. Pediatric audiologists diagnose speech and hearing disorders so that the proper recommendations can be made for treatment.
Tinnitus Evaluation and Management
Tinnitus is described as a ringing, whooshing, buzzing or humming in the ear, which is heard by the person, but no one else. An evaluation by an approved audiologist is needed to figure out the severity of the condition.
